I It was great when the rain finally stopped. Thanks to you all for being there promptly at 11am, I was pressured in to starting the match a bit quickly by Cotham Park's early arrival so I will give us a little more structured warm up before this Sunday's match against Avonmouth. Two games resulting in a 2-5 defeat and a 4-3 win. A good result against a side with one or two strong lads in it. In the first game we started slowly and were a little unsure how to play the kick off. This is an optional way to start the game that we have not tried yet and we will definitely practice in the future as it gives the game a little more interest - though it is a little hard to take when we kicked off after they scored only for them to catch it and run it back for another try! The difference between the two games was our team work. In both games everyone worked really hard and in the second game, they scrum in particular, typified by Ed, worked as a unit supporting each other and working the ball back well giving Finn the opportunity to score 3 tries. Harry and Robert got the two tries in the first game and I can not end with out mentioning the stunning tap tackle by Keiran in the last play of the game to deny Cotham the equalizing try.
